Volunteer PHX welcomes newly appointed City Manager, Jeff Barton.  Barton is the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Phoenix and oversees the largest council-manager form of government in the United States, with 14,500 city employees, including seven employee unions and associations, and a $3.4 billion annual budget.

Welcome Brianna!

The Volunteer PHX welcomes Brianna Williams as the new Volunteer Facilitator. Brianna recently completed a year of service with the City of Phoenix – Office of Sustainability as an AmeriCorps VISTA Member. She was instrumental in working on the Citizen Forester Program, We’re Cool Heat Relief Outreach, and Cool Roof Policy Research.

HandsOn Greater Phoenix – AmeriCorps VISTA

HandsOn Greater Phoenix is currently recruiting AmeriCorps VISTA Members for a variety of positions, including three within the City of Phoenix. Phoenix AmeriCorps VISTA positions are available in the Mayor’s Office, Office of Environmental Programs, and Housing Department Makerspace.
