Volunteer Month Park Cleanup Opportunities

Next month is National Volunteer Month,  and we’re kicking it off with eight park cleanups throughout Phoenix on Monday, April 1st.

Volunteer groups will be able to spend the morning beautifying one of the sites. This is a great opportunity for both team building and positively impacting the community.

Sky Harbor Teen Navigator Program

The Sky Harbor Teen Navigator Program is back at Sky Harbor International Airport!  This summer volunteer program is designed for teens 14 years or older who are interested in learning more about the aviation industry and helping passengers navigate the airport.

For eight weeks beginning in June 2024, Sky Harbor Teen Navigators will volunteer alongside experienced Navigators at the Airport in weekly 4-hour shifts.  They will help visitors by assisting at interactive directories, providing directions, or just offering friendly smiles.  This is a great way for a student to fulfill their service-learning requirements and see first-hand how the Airport drives Arizona’s economic engine.

Visit skyharbor.com/volunteer/teen-navigator-program to complete an online application or call (602) 273-4017 for more information.

Or if you need some information about the airport’s shops and restaurants, the friendly Navigators are the go-to people for these questions and more. Visit skyharbor.com/volunteer to complete an online application or call (602) 273-4017 for more information.
