This innovative volunteer program mobilizes community members to promote responsible water stewardship within the City of Phoenix. Phoenix Water Wranglers will serve as representatives at local events under the direction of the Water Conservation Staff, by assisting in water conservation outreach, communication, and education. Nature Fest PHX: Volunteers Needed

Join us to celebrate urban wildlife and community in the valley! Nature Fest PHX is an Urban Wildlife Conservation Day and Rio Reimagined Event. This event is family-friendly, and volunteers are needed. The event is on Saturday, October 19th at the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area (2801 S 7th Ave)

The event will kick off with a Salt River cleanup at 7:00 AM and the event itself is till 12:00 PM.

Every year, the City of Phoenix partners with Phoenix Revitalization Corporation (PRC) and multiple other City departments and community partners to host the Central City South and Edison-Eastlake Community G.A.I.N. (Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods) events.

The Central City South G.A.I.N. Event takes place at Harmon Park (1425 South 5th Avenue) and this year will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM. Set-up begins at 7:30 AM. For more information or the link to register, visit:
