Vacant Properties Now Required to Register in Phoenix

The Phoenix City Council recently approved NSD’s Vacant Property Registry (VPR). The VPR requires the following property types to register with NSD if vacant for more than 30 days:

  • Non-residential properties
  • Unimproved land measuring over 10,000 square feet
  • Residential properties with 50 or more units vacant

The registry was created to address the community's need for communication with vacant property owners and to enable the City to efficiently address issues such as crime, blight, and illegal dumping.

Help Us Keep Phoenix Graffiti-Free

You can make a difference in your community by helping the City of Phoenix find and remove graffiti. There are three ways to report it:

It’s important to be as detailed as possible about the graffiti location to help the City’s Graffiti Busters locate and remove it. If you happen to catch graffiti in the act, call 911.
